Brrr, it’s bloody freezing, what the hell happened to Spring? Importantly what is going to happen to the vegetables in the kitchen garden with all these Spring frosts? Well thankfully a very ugly, but extremely efficient system has evolved over the decades and thanks to the polytunnel, the British growing season for vegetables and fruits has been extended with very little additional input by the humble polytunnel. This allows our kitchen gardeners to bring British, local produce to your pizzas earlier and later in the season, reducing food miles and improving flavor. Enjoy, dig in.
